Achievements
Since 2008, we have advised dozens of public and private companies -national and international, as well as agrarian communities and individuals. Some of the projects that we have represented are:
- Constellation Brands (NYSE: STZ): acquisition of rights for the expansion of its brewing plant in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora (2018 to date).
- Grupo México (BMV:GMEXICOB): purchase of lands for its mining operations and for a highway in the Bajío Region (2017 to date).
- Corporación Moctezuma (BMV: CMOCTEZ): audit, negotiation, and defense of land rights for its mining activities and plants in Morelos, San Luis Potosí, and Veracruz (2016 to date).
- National Center for Natural Gas Control (CENAGAS): preparation of the manual for the due diligence of rights of way transferred to it by Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX, 2018).
- OPDEnergy: regularization of contracts with more than 100 ejido members for the construction of a solar plant in Coahuila, including four agrarian actions (2018-2019).
- RCD Hotels (operator of Hard Rock Hotels in Mexico): defense of plots in Rivera Maya involving more than one kilometer of beachfront, and litigation involving title of a 262 hectares state-owned plot of land (2016-2019).
- Federal Ministry of Communications and Transport (SCT): release of rights of way for a 50 kilometer stretch of a the Tuxpan-Tampico highway in the States of Veracruz and Tamaulipas, and rectification of a section of a Chiapas highway (2014).
- Constructora y Edificadora GIA+A: acquisition of +120 hectares of lands for the construction of a federal prison in Oaxaca (2011-2012).
As pro-bono, we offer free legal advice to the ejidos, communities and its members, for the regularization of its rights, processing agrarian and civil inheritances, advice to migrants and settlement of internal disputes, among others.
